Location: Hybrid (Remote & In-Person at CRAAF, Mississauga)
Position Summary
The Canadian Reel and Art Foundation (CRAAF) is hiring a Summer Web Content Assistant to support our online communications, digital content creation, and web presence. The role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, arts programming, and digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- – Create, edit, and publish engaging content for CRAAF’s website and social media platforms
- – Collaborate with workshop coordinators to gather photos, videos, and written content
- – Assist in maintaining an event calendar, workshop highlights, and blog articles
- – Ensure content is accessible, culturally inclusive, and aligns with CRAAF’s mission
- – Support updates for Freedom 25 event, community programs, and ongoing campaigns
Eligibility Requirements
- – Must be between 15–30 years of age at the start of employment
- – Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or legally entitled to work in Canada
- – Strong writing and communication skills
- – Basic knowledge of web platforms (WordPress, Wix, or similar), Canva, or social media scheduling tools is an asset
Hours & Compensation
32 hours per week
$23 per hour
Total hours 256 hours
