Mississauga-based artist and educator with a rich portfolio spanning visual art, workshops, and research.

Devika Mathur

Visual artist, art educator, and founding Director of CRAAF with over 20 years of experience. Based in Mississauga, Devika has taught art in schools, universities, and community organizations. She led the Seeds of Change Project (United Way Greater Toronto) and established a community club for neurodiverse adults and youth, creating inclusive creative and social opportunities for all.

Melanie Pereira

15 years of corporate industry experience combined with a lifelong passion for arts, crafts, and creativity.

Melanie Pereira

Professional singer with over 30 years of experience, originally from Mumbai where she performed at 5-star hotels. Trained in Jazz Ballet under Shiamak Davar and a Level 3 Salsa dancer, Melanie has performed at multicultural events across Canada and recorded songs for film. Her compositions include “Waiting” and the title song for the film “Second Chance.” She also serves as Executive Assistant at Ericsson and is active in community and cultural initiatives.
