The Small Projects Grant (SPG) provides funding to not-for-profit, community organizations and Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) to support the delivery of programs and services that keep Mississauga residents active, healthy and engaged
in their communities.
Applicants can request funding up to $2,500 to support project or program-related expenses for organizations that extend the variety and choice of programs and services for Mississauga residents and can be delivered successfully by December
2026.
What does the SPG support? Here are some examples of projects and activities that applicants can consider applying for:

  • Skill building activities (e.g., digital skills, leadership, mentorship training etc.)
  • Community Building activities, such as events to meet neighbours and make connections, workshops and skill building sessions
  • Active living and physical health programs and events
  • Improvements or changes to enhance existing programs, reach new audiences and remove barriers to participation
  • New programs or services
